A modern take on the traditional Arab shopping experience, Souk Al Bahar offers an array of shopping and dining options in a structure of intricate old-world design. The long, high stone corridors house over 100 stores and restaurants, all with highly stylized interiors evoking an atmosphere of bygone eras. You'll find traditional handicrafts and popular regional perfumes here, alongside some of the leading international brands in furnishings, fashion, and technology. Sit in one of the cafes on the waterfront promenade and take in views of downtown, including the orchestrated fountain and the gargantuan skyscraper. Very impressive altogether (much like the whole of Dubai). Though truth be told, I walked through here to view the fountains, so from that point of view, it was great. A lovely walk through the very pretty architecture and over the canals to the viewing platform to see the fountains. The souk itself provided a lovely walking path, but I didn't look in or buy anything on route.

Really nice spot for restaurants and cafes. The water front is quite nice to seat near and has good views of the water fountain show in the evenings. One negative is the parking it can get full on busy nights and the parking bays themselves are quite narrow. Time out market is something worth a visit, food Court but for adults. Tried some lovely desserts from one of the establishments was great! Recommended!
