Big Small Town

The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Change things up with these side-trips from Zurich: Lucerne (Rigi, Bourbaki Panorama, &more) and Mt Pilatus (in Kriens). Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): take in panoramic vistas at Gornergrat, then enjoy breathtaking views from Sunnegga, and then get great views at Furi Suspension Bridge. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Intercontinental Church Society, take in the awesome beauty at The Matterhorn, then have fun at Clay Shoot Zermatt, then glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and finally stop by Laderach.
