A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Salthill Promenade are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Popular historic sites such as Galway Cathedral and King John's Castle are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden (in Kylemore), Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor) and Aillwee Cave (in Ballyvaughan). Spend the 17th (Fri) exploring nature at Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre. Spend the 21st (Tue) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. The adventure continues: cruise along Wild Atlantic Way, explore the historical opulence of Ashford Castle, walk around Eyre Square, and explore and take pictures at Dromoland Castle.
