Bordered by the spectacular peaks of the Alberta Rockies, within a stone's throw of Banff National Park, the town of Canmore serves as an excellent base for outdoor adventures.Do some cultural sightseeing at Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies and All In The Wild Gallery. Visiting Sulphur Mountain and Lake Agnes will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Canmore: Banff Indian Trading Post (in Banff), Beeland (in Spillimacheen) and Kootenay National Park (in Radium Hot Springs). Next up on the itinerary: take in the awesome beauty at Ha Ling Peak, Head underground at Canmore Cave Tours, take in the dramatic scenery at Takakkaw Falls, and get great views at Surprise Corner.
