A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): stop by Julehuset - Christmas Shop, appreciate the extensive heritage of Bryggen, then get engrossed in the history at Hanseatic Museum and Schøtstuene, then explore the world behind art at KODE Art Museums of Bergen, and finally examine the collection at Museum Lepramuseet St. Jorgens Hospital. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 31st (Wed): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ulriken and then hike along Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken.
