City of the Tribes

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Change things up with a short trip to Bunratty Castle & Folk Park in Bunratty (about 1h 5 min away). Spend the 6th (Mon) exploring nature at Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre. And it doesn't end there: cruise along Wild Atlantic Way, get to know the fascinating history of Salthill Promenade, and make a trip to Quay Street.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. In November, daytime highs in Galway are 47°F, while nighttime lows are 38°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
