Cape Tribulation — 2 nights

A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
Step out of the city life by going to Mount Sorrow Ridge Trail and Dubuji Boardwalk. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Trevethan Falls and Daintree Mangroves Wildlife Sanctuary.

Expect a daytime high around 33°C in September, and nighttime lows around 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Sat) to allow time for travel back home.
