Drive from Aarhus to Billund in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 70°F, and evening lows to 52°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to fly to Bergen.

A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.

Family-friendly places like Mount Floyen and the Funicular and Bryggen will thrill your kids. Get a sense of the local culture at Troldhaugen Edvard Grieg Museum and Hanseatic Museum and Schøtstuene. Change things up with a short trip to Lyse Abbey in Lysekloster (about 44 minutes away).
