Milan — 14 nights

In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Family-friendly places like Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II will thrill your kids. Get in touch with nature at Anything But Work and Monte Legnoncino. Explore Milan's surroundings by going to Verona (River Rafting & Tubing, Museo di Castelvecchio, &more), Orrido di Nesso (in Nesso) and Como (Sentiero 6 - Valbasca, I Falconieri del Feudo, &more). The adventure continues: get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, admire the masterpieces at Pinacoteca di Brera, and browse the collection at Pinacoteca Ambrosiana.

Venice to Milan is an approximately 3-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Wed) to allow time to fly back home.
