City of Seven Mountains

A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Sat): stroll through Ulriken, then get to know the fascinating history of Bryggen, then look for gifts at Julehuset - Christmas Shop, and finally take in the awesome beauty at Mount Floyen and the Funicular. Keep things going the next day: shop like a local with Kunsthall 3.14, don't miss a visit to Fish Market, and then make a trip to Pepperkakebyen.
