The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.

Shop till you drop at Altstadt Luzern and Hauptbahnhof. Get in touch with nature at Mt Pilatus and Lake Zurich. Change things up with a short trip to Chapel Bridge in Lucerne (about 1 hour away). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Old Town and shop like a local with Bahnhofstrasse.

You can drive from Zermatt to Geneva in 3.5 hours. Another option is to take a train. In October, daily temperatures in Geneva can reach 19°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 10th (Mon) to allow enough time to fly back home.
