It is absolutely worthwhile to take all those steps right up to the top of the tower. One gets a super view of the entire town with all of its lovely sights.

I love the The Peppermill as it is called because it resembles one. It is one of the true icons in the city Zwolle. After climbing the 236 steps you get a birds eye view of Zwolle and surroundings. Well worth the visit .

The high tower of De Pepperbus is visible for all over Zwolle. It is 75 metre tall and has 51 bells. The 236 stairs leads all the way to the topmost part of the tower. It has a nominal fee of around €3,50. The view from the top gives a complete panaromic view of the city. It is just adjacent and connected to the church 'Basilica of the lady'. It can be seen from any part of the city. A must visit place if you are in Zwolle!
