Relax on the white sand of Jansom Bay, a notable piece of shoreline in the area. Just a short walk from the main town, this attraction boasts shallow, turquoise water with no currents, so even children can swim safely here. Stretch out on the sand, go snorkeling, or explore the boulders and forest surrounding the beach. You can expect to pay a small fee to enter this privately owned beach. Add Jansom Bay to your Koh Tao travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Koh Tao tour planner.

Adventure-seekers brace yourselves! This is a ghosttown. Try not to get lost and beware of falling hazards. This was closed because of covid damages so it’s been abandoned for about 2 Years. They left basically everything as it was and only took the stuff they could still scrap. Some stray cats will watch you as you walk through a labyrinth of stairs and walkways in this ginormous resort. Bring water, torches and snacks because you will get lost on your way back :) There appears to be an opened resort next to it where you can get in and out of without jumping the barrier. Just make your way along the coastline and follow the small walkways.

At the entrance of what before COVID used to be a resort, a woman asks you for THB 100 per person as entrance fee. It is valid to be on Jamson Beach and Sai Thong (eventhough they tell you that it is valid also to go to Sai Nuan beach, this last one is free). The sunbeds on the beach cost an extra THB 100 per person, so we laid our towels on the sand. Quiet beach (we run into a maximum of 7 people during the morning) and beautiful views of the jungle. Free open WIFI of the resort and toilet available. No other services. Not too much to see in the water (we expected to see more fishes) but you can enjoy the views and the nature around you. I would say it is quite expensive for what the beach itself and its surrounding can offer to you.
