Playa Samil, the main beach of Vigo, measures 1.7 km (around 1 mi). Justifiably busy during the summer, it features a popular boardwalk, swimming pools, and a small soccer field. Look out toward the Cíes Islands. At the western end, see the Lagares river enter the sea. Arrive easily here via city bus. Clubs, cafes, and museums are all located nearby. If the beach is too crowded when you get there, try walking along the coast until you find another. This beach has such a beautiful view. Great boardwalk with roller skating park, 2 pools, and plenty of sitting areas. A couple of great restaurants right on the beach o grab a drink with a view.

Less people than in the past, walked the full length of it, the water as always crystal clear, sand near sea edge easy to walk on.

The sunset here is priceless! The ocean is cold yet the beach is worth to visit!
