Difficult to reach but worth when you get there. Buses available but infrequent. Great cafe beside monument and cable car service to beach/paradise restaurant. Note monument being restored at present date (2/12/21). Still worth visit.

The statue was cordoned off when we visited so you could only see the top, luckily we had a drone and took some amazing videos. There is a view point below the statue which counts 230 steps down, just remember though....if you go down you've got to come up so not really good for people who have trouble walking.
