Hardangerfjord, Bergen

Known as the Orchard of Norway, Hardangerfjord is the world's third-longest fjord, offering tourist routes along glaciers, waterfalls, and one of the largest mountain highlands in Europe. The fjord stretches 179 km (111 mi) from the Atlantic Ocean into the forested hills of the mainland. Cruise along the scenic villages nestled at the foot of the mountains, or go walking on a glacier.
