Trip Planner: Europe / Ireland / Province of Munster / County Waterford / Waterford / Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum
Artifacts found at Waterford share their story at Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum. A costumed re-enactor leads you through the display galleries and infuses the experience with stories of battles and daily life. The Great Charter Roll of Waterford of 1373 holds a place of honor among the artifacts, as do gold medieval vestments that sparkle under the display lights. The attraction is connected to two other museums, so consider a combination ticket to save money on the ticket price of each. Guided tours take place every 45 minutes, and you are free to roam the museum yourself after the tour. Photography is allowed, but remember to turn off your flash. If you're hungry, stop by the on-site cafe. You can leave belongings and overcoats at the cloakroom. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Waterford holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Waterford Treasures Medieval Museum and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

We got the all inclusive museum and guided tour pass. We thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour. The museums were really interesting and I wish that we didn't run out of time because we couldn't make it to the silver museum. The whole town of Waterford is very charming and beautiful. We parked in the Bolton Street Car Park. We had a big RV and had no problem finding a spot. It was within 5 mins walking distance to the museums and Waterford Crystal factory. Highly recommend spending a day here! Adorable streets and shops.
Great historic exhibition /experience
