    Always love visiting Lough Gur and have done for many years. It's a fab place. However I wouldn't reccomend the museum as it is overpriced for how small it is. Just visit Lough Gur grounds are free...

    This is a great spot to visit, lovely walks and if your brave climb the 130 steps to view the lough, amazing view and well worth the trek up to the top, lots of seating when you climb so you can rest....  more

    Very peaceful place. Very suitable for children. Paths suitable for push chairs by lakeside. Playground near visitor's centre. 3 decent car parks. A coffee kiosk which takes cards is located near the car park. A very steep climb to the Visitor's Centre.

    Lovely lake. The park is very calming and kids friendly. Definitely worth to visit.
