  • Barbara and Mike are fabulous hosts full of interesting information on alpacas and only too happy to share. The alpacas are wonderful and cute animals with funny personalities. Meeting the alpacas (and Barbara and Mike) and taking them for a walk is well worth doing if you're in the area, a delightful and novel way to spend a morning.
  • This morning we went to the flying alpaca in County Claire. We signed up for the full Alpaca Experience. And I can not say enough good things about this amazing place. Barbara and Mike are so absolutely lovely. We got to meet all the alpacas, catch one, take them for a walk, pet them, feed them, and the chickens too! Did I mention they also have the sweetest dog, Yuki?😍 Then we went inside for tea + homemade cake (it was so good!) plus met their cute cats, while Barbara demonstrated and explained the process of turning alpaca wool into yarn, and even let us try too. They answered any questions we had, and we learned a lot about alpacas. You can tell that Mike and Barbara really have a passion for all things animals. Really genuine sweet lovely people. As a huge animal lover, I can't tell you how happy this experience made me. I couldn't resist buying one of Barbara's homemade crocheted Alpacas as a souvenir. Can't wait to go back already. Spitfire was my favorite, but.... watch out ;)
