Witness the beauty of the Roman Catholic Cobh Cathedral, which took 47 years to complete. E.W. Pugin, George Ashlin, and Thomas Coleman began construction in 1867, and it was not completed until 1915. Officially named St. Coleman's Cathedral, this religious site is known for spectacular neo-Gothic architecture. Tour the cathedral and admire its exterior and interior beauty. The cathedral houses the largest church carillon in Ireland, featuring 49 bells. You can also attend Mass, as the cathedral remains in operation. A stunning cathedral with wonderful views of the harbor and the town. A Covid memorial garden across the street. The cathedral itself is so beautiful, I was the only person inside.

This Cathedral is an impressive building. As visitors we were made very welcome and we would like to attend a service one day.

A beautiful cathedral that overlooks the Cobh harbour . Convenient free parking at the back of the cathedral,a 5-10min walk into town to visit other well-known attractions. A small donation inside the cathedral is requested. The cathedral tower is 91m high and the cathedral took 47yrs to build. The arches , carvings and stained glass inside are awesome , the pulpit is something else. Just check website for services or events and work around that. One of the most amazing cathedrals we saw in our 2 week trip in Ireland

Beautiful cathedral and lovely views of the harbour. Also if planning to take the picture of deck of cards it gives a very good vantage point. Try to go early in the morning to witness Beautiful sun rise along with the ethereal church bell sounds!!..
