  • Glockenspiel located at Marienplatz - New Town Hall in Munich. A lovely tourist attraction clock which consists of 43 bells and 32 life-sized figures. It chimes and re-enacts two stories from the 16th century, at 11am, 12pm and sometimes 5pm as well. Can be watched free of charge. The show lasts about 15 minutes. At the end, a golden rooster at the top of the Glockenspiel crows thrice, signalling the end of the spectacle. Must see when visiting Germany!
