Gunnamatta Beach, Fingal

We had a couple of very pleasant hours at this beach on a pleasant sunny day. Never been there before but obviously it is a renowned place for surfers who know what they are doing , swimmers would have to be careful here also as at time it would be very wild and dangerous. There were plenty of surfers doing there thing and also quite a lot of people fishing , we saw some nice fish that had been caught. Lovely to walk on the lovely sandy beach. There is a good life saving club there which is very active (check the photos) and apparently they rescue a lot of people during the season who get into trouble. Long sandy beach in Fingal, which is a surfers' paradise .. It is located in the Mornington Peninsula National Park and is part of the 30km long sandy and rocky coast that extends from Cape Schanck to Point Nepean.
