A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Galway: Doolin Cave (in Doolin), Bunratty Castle & Folk Park (in Bunratty) and Burren National Park (in Corofin). Spend the 29th (Wed) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Cliffs of Moher, get to know the fascinating history of Salthill Promenade, tour the pleasant surroundings at The Great Western Greenway, and look for all kinds of wild species at Burren Birds of Prey Centre.

For maps, other places to visit, reviews, and more tourist information, read our Galway tour itinerary website .

If you are flying in from Singapore, the closest major airports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in August, and nighttime lows around 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) to allow time to travel back home.
