Straddling the River Moy near Ireland's northern Atlantic coast, the town of Ballina has roots dating as far back as 1375.
Change things up with these side-trips from Ballina: Westport (Atlantic Drive on Achill Island & The Great Western Greenway), Donegal Castle (in Donegal Town) and Ballyshannon and District Museum (in Ballyshannon).
