City of the Tribes

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Salthill Promenade are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Popular historic sites such as Galway Cathedral and Ashford Castle are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Aillwee Cave (in Ballyvaughan), Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor) and Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden (in Kylemore). Spend the 17th (Fri) exploring nature at Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre. Spend the 21st (Tue) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. The adventure continues: cruise along Wild Atlantic Way, don't miss a visit to Quay Street, walk around Eyre Square, and step into the grandiose world of Dromoland Castle.
