Though Ayia Napa boasts archaeological sites and the largest water park in Europe, the city is best known as a party hub.

Step out of the city life by going to Golden Beach and Ayia Napa Harbour. Zenobia Wreck and Famagusta City Walls will appeal to history buffs. Get out of town with these interesting Ayia Napa side-trips: Limassol City (Limassol Castle & Promenade), Buyuk Han (in Nicosia) and Famagusta (Ghost Town Varosha & Salamis Ancient City). Next up on the itinerary: enjoy the sand and surf at Ayia Thekla Beach, paddle through the water with Kapparis Waterfun, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Profitis Elias, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
