A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Venture out of the city with trips to Doolin (Doolin Garden and Nursery, Irish Crafts, & more), Liscannor (Moher Hill Open Farm and Leisure Park, Cliffs of Moher, & more) and Westport (Marlene's Chocolate Haven, Carrowholly Stables & Trekking Centre, & more). Spend the 4th (Wed) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. Spend the 12th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: explore the striking landscape of Connemara National Park, appreciate the extensive heritage of Salthill Promenade, admire the natural beauty at Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden, and make a trip to Quay Street.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major airports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. In March, plan for daily highs up to 12°C, and evening lows to 4°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
