A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): stop by Julehuset - Christmas Shop, take in the waterfront at Bryggen, then get engrossed in the history at Hanseatic Museum and Schøtstuene, then explore the world behind art at KODE Art Museums of Bergen, and finally examine the collection at Museum Lepramuseet St. Jorgens Hospital. On the 31st (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ulriken and then trek along Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken.
