Located on the sea, Aarhus blends a world city with a small-town feel. Home to a young population, the city has a reputation for producing internationally known pop and rock musicians.
Den Gamle By and Botanical Garden and the Greenhouses will appeal to museum buffs. Attractions like Ree Park Safari and Djurs Sommerland make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Aarhus Domkirke.
