City of the Tribes

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Croagh Patrick and Burren National Park. Visit Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Dungaire Castle for their historical value. Venture out of the city with trips to Rathcroghan Royal Site & Visitor Centre (in Tulsk), Lahinch Beach (in Lahinch) and Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Burren Birds of Prey Centre, experience rural life at Loughwell Farm Park, contemplate the long history of Poulnabrone Dolmen, and step into the grandiose world of Ashford Castle.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. In November in Galway, expect temperatures between 47°F during the day and 38°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Thu) so you can travel back home.
