City of the Tribes

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Visit Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and Galway Cathedral for their historical value. Escape the urban bustle at Wild Atlantic Way and Aillwee Cave. Explore Galway's surroundings by going to Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor), Burren National Park (in Corofin) and Newport Church (in Newport). Spend the 21st (Wed) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. There's lots more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Salthill Promenade, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Holy Trinity Church, explore the landscape on two wheels at The Great Western Greenway, and don't miss a visit to Quay Street.
