A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Venture out of the city with trips to Aillwee Cave (in Ballyvaughan), Bunratty Castle & Folk Park (in Bunratty) and Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor). There's still lots to do: explore the striking landscape of Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre, appreciate the extensive heritage of Salthill Promenade, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Corcomroe Abbey, and make a trip to Quay Street.
