A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Venture out of the city with trips to Aillwee Cave (in Ballyvaughan), Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor) and Bunratty Castle & Folk Park (in Bunratty). Spend the 21st (Sun) exploring nature at Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre. There's still lots to do: make a trip to Quay Street, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Corcomroe Abbey, admire the natural beauty at Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden, and tour the pleasant surroundings at The Great Western Greenway.
