City of the Tribes

A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Take a break from the city and head to Burren Birds of Prey Centre and Aillwee Cave. Do some cultural sightseeing at Salthill Promenade and Corcomroe Abbey. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Galway: Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor), Dromore Wood Nature Reserve (in Ennis) and Dromoland Castle (in Newmarket-on-Fergus). It doesn't end there: admire the landmark architecture of Galway Cathedral and contemplate the long history of Poulnabrone Dolmen.

Plan my Galway trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

If you are flying in from Spain, the closest major aiports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. In April in Galway, expect temperatures between 12°C during the day and 3°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
