A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Get in touch with nature at Connemara National Park & Visitor Centre and Burren National Park. Do some cultural sightseeing at Salthill Promenade and Galway Cathedral. Step out of Galway to go to Ballyvaughan and see Burren Birds of Prey Centre, which is approximately 1h 10 min away. And it doesn't end there: cruise along Wild Atlantic Way, take an in-depth tour of Galway City Museum, steep yourself in history at Poulnabrone Dolmen, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Corcomroe Abbey.

To see other places to visit, traveler tips, reviews, and tourist information, you can read our Galway online trip itinerary planner.

In May, plan for daily highs up to °C, and evening lows to °C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
