A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Galway: Aillwee Cave (in Ballyvaughan), Cliffs of Moher (in Liscannor) and Burren National Park (in Corofin). Spend the 24th (Sun) among the memorable landscape of The Burren. There's lots more to do: cruise along Wild Atlantic Way Day Tours, appreciate the extensive heritage of Salthill Promenade, don't miss a visit to Quay Street, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Eyre Square.

Plan my Galway trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major airports are Dublin Airport, Shannon Airport and Cork Airport. In June in Galway, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 10°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel back home.
