As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): pause for some photo ops at Island of Tears, then learn about all things military at Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Saints Simon and Helena, and finally examine the collection at Dudutki Museum Complex. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: browse the collection at National Library of Belarus, make a trip to Victory Square, see the interesting displays at Museum Strana Mini, explore the world behind art at The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, then pause for some serene contemplation at Holy Spirit Cathedral, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Bernardine Monastery.

Plan my day in Minsk using traveler tips and tourist information provided by Inspirock.

If you are flying in from Poland, the closest major airport is Minsk National Airport. In January, daytime highs in Minsk are -4°C, while nighttime lows are -10°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Wed) to allow time to travel back home.
