Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Sat): test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, then hit the slopes at Olympic Center Jahorina, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Ferhadija Mosque. On the 12th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: don't miss a visit to Sarajevo Memorial for Children Killed during Siege, appreciate the history behind Nermine, dodi, then go all around town with City Tours, then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel in Sarajevo, and finally make a trip to Goat's Bridge.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Sarajevo is an approximately 10-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Jeddah to Sarajevo. Traveling from Jeddah in January, things will get colder in Sarajevo: highs are around 5°C and lows about -4°C.
