As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Visit Upper City and Holy Spirit Cathedral for their historical value. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Gallery Dom Kartin and Zamok Mall. Step out of Minsk to go to Ptich and see Dudutki Museum Complex, which is approximately 48 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Museum Strana Mini, browse the fresh offerings at Minskiy Komarovskiy Market, learn about all things military at Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and indulge your thirst for a good beer at Alivaria Brewery Museum.

Doha, Qatar to Minsk is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Doha in July, expect Minsk to be much colder, temps between 28°C and 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Grodno.

The capital city of the region of the same name, Grodno (also called Hrodna) was built around the river flowing through it, and is known as a hub for the arts celebrating both modern and classical culture with three major theaters, a philharmonic society, and a multitude of museums.
Shop till you drop at U Maystra Gallery and Cudounia. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Kalozha Church Boris-Gleb Church and The Jesuit Catholic Church. And it doesn't end there: delve into the distant past at The Old Castle, pause for some serene contemplation at The Bernandine Church, explore the historical opulence of The New Castle, and see the interesting displays at Maksim Bahdanovic Museum.

Drive from Minsk to Grodno in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 27°C in August, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Brest.

A sharp contrast to the capital of Minsk, Brest is a city filled with fortress ruins, old culture, and medieval history.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Memorial Complex Brest Hero-Fortress and The 5th Fort Museum. Get some historical perspective at Bielaviežskaja pušča National Park and The Temple in Honor of the Tikhvin Icon of Our Lady. Step out of Brest to go to Kobryn and see Military History Museum of Suvorov, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's more to do: examine the collection at Brest Railway Museum and make a trip to Lights Alley.

Mir is a town in Kareličy raion, Hrodna Voblast, Belarus on the banks of Miranka River, about 85 kilometers southwest of the national capital, Minsk.Prior to 1939 the town was in Poland.HistoryMir village was founded sometime prior to 1345. On the 13th (Tue), walk around Nesvizh Castle and then explore the historical opulence of Mir Castle.
