As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Get in touch with nature at Trinity Hill and Minsk Sea. Your inner history buff will appreciate Nesvizh Castle and Khatyn Memorial. Venture out of the city with trips to Monument to the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War (in Nesvizh), Sula History Park-Museum (in Sula) and Mir (St. Nicholas' Church & Mir Castle). Spend the 10th (Fri) exploring nature at Prilepsky Reserve. Spend a fun-filled day on the 21st (Tue) at Fristail. And it doesn't end there: pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Saints Simon and Helena, find something for the whole family at Gorky Central Park, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Holy Spirit Cathedral, and see the interesting displays at Dudutki Museum Complex.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiport is Minsk National Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to °C, and evening lows to °C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 24th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
