On the 28th (Sat), contemplate the long history of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, then look for gifts at Kimono Photo Studio Wasabi Osaka, and then get to know the fascinating history of Hozenji Yokocho. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 29th (Sun): stroll around Nara Park, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nigatsu-do Temple, take an in-depth tour of Kofuku-ji Temple National Treasure Hall, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Toshodai-ji Temple, and finally wander the streets of Dotonbori.

Barcelona, Spain to Osaka is an approximately 19-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of bus and flight. The time zone difference when traveling from Barcelona to Osaka is 8 hours. September in Osaka sees daily highs of 32°C and lows of 24°C at night. Start off your visit on the 30th (Mon): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shimogamo Jinja, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kinkaku-ji, take in the spiritual surroundings of Kamigamo Shrine, take in the spiritual surroundings of Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kennin-ji Temple, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Nishi Honganji.

Getting from Kyoto to Nagoya by train takes about an hour. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Kyoto in October: highs in Nagoya hover around 24°C, while lows dip to 19°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Wed) early enough to catch the train to Nagano.

Step out of the city life by going to Pola Museum of Art and Oyama Rice Terraces. Visit Asakusa Shrine and Mitsumine Shrine (Chichibu) for their historical value.
