Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Mon): examine the collection at Osaka Shiritsu Toyo Toji Museum, then see the interesting displays at Cup Noodle Museum Osaka Ikeda, then stop by Kimono Photo Studio Wasabi Osaka, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Hōzen-ji Temple. On the next day, wander the streets of Dotonbori, appreciate the extensive heritage of Hozenji Yokocho, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Toshodai-ji Temple, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Nigatsu-do Temple.

Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Kinkaku-ji and Nijo Castle. Shimogamo Jinja and Kifune Shrine will appeal to history buffs. Step out of Kyoto to go to Uji and see Obakusan Manpuku - ji Temple, which is approximately 34 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shoren-in Temple (Shoren-in Monzeki), contemplate the long history of Ninna-ji Temple, take a stroll through Gion, and take some stellar pictures from Mt. Kurama.

Kyoto is just a short distance from Osaka. In September, daily temperatures in Kyoto can reach 33°C, while at night they dip to 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Nagoya.
