Tirana, the largest city in Albania, represents one a lively and fast-paced metropolis.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tirana: Durres (Durres Archaeological Museum, Durres Amphitheatre, &more) and Kruje (Ethnographic Museum of Kruja & Kruja Castle). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Muzeu Historik Kombetar, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Et`hem Bey Mosque, stroll around Grand Park (Parku i Madh), and don't miss a visit to Skanderbeg Square.
