Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.

Get outdoors at Granville Island and Dolphin & Whale Watching. Get some historical perspective at Deep Cove and Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary. Change things up with these side-trips from Vancouver: Leghorn Ranch (in Pitt Meadows), Fort Langley National Historic Site (in Fort Langley) and Traboulay Poco Trail (in Port Coquitlam). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, enjoy the sand and surf at Third Beach, trek along West Vancouver Seawall, and stroll through Spanish Banks.
