Perpignan is a city, a commune, and the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales department in southern France. Bring the kids along to Seaquarium and Europark. Venture out of the city with trips to La Plagette (in Port Leucate), Amigoland (in Le Grau-du-Roi) and Tours et Remparts d'Aigues-Mortes (in Aigues-Mortes). There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Cathedrale St-Jean, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Riverchurch, stroll around Promenade du Front de Mer, and indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Perpignan-Rivesaltes (Llabanère) Airport, Carcassonne Airport and Béziers-Vias Airport. Expect a daytime high around 34°C in July, and nighttime lows around 22°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
