  • We are in the classic shopping street aimed at residents and tourists, who can find everything from souvenirs to restaurants; but on closer inspection the Karl Johans gate can not be defined as a simple shopping street, since it is flanked by many important buildings, such as the cathedral. Even the stretch to the Central Station is absolutely quiet and enjoyable.
