Vidden Trail between Mt. Floyen and Mt. Ulriken connects the two mountains and winds past small lakes and pools of drinking water while offering great views of the city. Take a cable car to Mount Ulriken or funicular to Mount Floyen and glide across the fjord and islands. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Folgefonna glacier. Stop at the restaurant at Mount Floyen, taste some Norwegian waffles, and walk down to the center of Bergen. The 15 km (9.3 mi) hiking trail is well marked; note that the last part is covered with gravel. Wear hiking shoes and bring a windbreaker, as well as some food and water.
