  • Beautiful mosque in Beirut- would definitely recommend a visit. The largest crystal chandelier weights 7 tonnes. Definitely worth a a viewing  more »
  • Located in the center, in the Plaza de los Mártires is a very new mosque, although very majestic. Ottoman-style is reminiscent of Istambul's mosques. Entry is allowed and worth the visit.

  • This is one of the most beautiful mosques in Lebanon. What I like is its architecture and its peaceful atmosphere. What I don't like is that sometimes the carpets smell and the women's toilet is not always clean.
  • During my week in Beirut, I visited the mosque a few times as it is truly beautiful inside and I had lovely encounters with worshippers who would approach me and ask about my reasons for visiting the mosque and Lebanon. The chandeliers and painted ceiling are masterpieces and it’s a quiet, comfortable sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Beirut.
