PIEDICAVALLO is 20min approx from Biella good place for BBQ well entertained with tables and area for fire and potable water the river is beautiful surrounded with trees... scenery view. after lunch..... more »

After some good hiking (not too hard), you finally get to the "Lake of the old (lady)"... It's is a wonderful lake and from there you have a beautiful view of the alpine surrounding. Worthwhile the... more »

Bel laghetto di montagna con ampi spazi per potersi sdraiare o fermarsi a mangiare qualcosa, si raggiunge partendo da Piedicavallo con bellissimo sentiero in circa 2 ore e mezza.

Beautiful mountain pond with wide spaces to be able to lie down or stop to eat something, you reach from Piedicavallo with beautiful trail in about 2 and a half hours.

Esperienza molto faticosa ma alla fine del cammino, guardandosi indietro, sembra impossibile essere riusciti a fare un sentiero così ripido. Non consigliato per chi soffre di vertigini! La vista dal lago e dal sentiero in generale è bellissima però, un vero paradiso in mezzo alle montagne. Vicino c'è un bel rifugio in cui riposarsi e mangiare una fetta di torta fatta in casa prima di scendere dalle montagne.

Very tiring experience but at the end of the walk, looking back, it seems impossible to be able to make such a steep path. Not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo! The view from the lake and the trail in general is beautiful though, a real paradise in the middle of the mountains. Close by there is a nice refuge to rest and eat a slice of homemade cake before descending from the mountains.
