  La chiesa fu consacrata nel 1515, ma la costruzione risale al 1380 ed è situata nel centro storico di Gressoney e successivamente nel secoli fu ampliata. Davanti alla chiesa si trova il sagrato dove vi è un porticato dentro il quale si snodano le edicole della Via Crucis, la costruzione risale al 1626.

  The church was consecrated in 1515, but the building dates back to 1380 and is located in the historic center of Gressoney and later in the centuries was expanded.   L'interno della chiesa (credo di origine romanica (IX sec.)(?) vi sono manufatti in legno intarsiato e pregevoli statue anch'esse in legno con un magnifico crocifisso che campeggia sull'altare maggiore.
